WATCH: Ancient Hebrew Customs – “Libation” (2017) – Rabbi Akwetey Amaah

Shalom, everyone! The following is a video commentary by renown educator Rabbi Akwetey Amaah of the Kingdom of Kings Academy called “Ancient Hebrew Customs – “Libation”.” In this video clip, Rabbi Akwetey discusses the pouring of libation, also known as the “drink offering” commanded in the Torah. The pouring of libation is a core part of the culture among the peoples of Central and West Africa, as it was among the ancient Ehvehs (Hebrews).

Also included in this video clip is the Wulomo of the Gas, dressed according to Torah requirements, pouring a libation while calling on The Creator. The Ga people are descendants of the Israelite tribe of Gad. For more information on this and other video lectures on Erverh history and culture please visit Rabbi Akwetey‘s website at https://www.tasteoftext.org/:
